tant Kristen did a fantastic job!! We hired Bjorn as a Day-of-Coordinator (really a Month-of-Coordinator) and honestly, I wish I had just hired him for full wedding planning! He did everything, from speaking to vendors, to delivering day-of items, to helping me deal with my dress, to making sure my husband and I ate something the day of. He also had contingency plans for all sorts of worst case scenarios, which thankfully, we did not need! It gave us both peace of mind to have someone so organized, efficient, and fun working with us, and I can't thank the team enough! Thank you, Bjorn and Kristen!!

th the way our wedding day turned out. His vision, his perspective were spot on most time, other times i need to reel him in but only because I can be a bit conservative. His passion for planning, and his attention to detail come through in everything he does. He was super helpful choosing vendors as we had no idea. I couldn't have been happier with hair stylists, makeup artist, florist, DJ, venue, etc...Even at the last minute when our previously selected baker could not accomodate my gluten-free request, Bjorn was able to find someone who delivered a lovely and tasty cake with one months notice. Wonderful experience overall. These reluctant brides would get married again tomorrow if Bjorn was the planner.

spoke to us he had so much energy! I called him a few months later +chatted with him on the phone. He was funny+ gave me the run down on how he does things. I ended up signing a contract for a full service wedding planner. Full service was every little detail from budget development, negotiations with vendors, etc. The first red flag was when he sent over a contract that he did not proof read. The contract he sent us had copied and pasted parts from a different contract that did not apply to our situation + did not make sense. We figured it was a simple error + let him know. He then sent a new contract that we signed. After about a month of working with Bjorn, my fiancé and I saw things slowly slip through the cracks. He had lots of great suggestions + ideas but always had an issue following up on them. The contract stated he would give a list of vendors but often he would suggest one vendor (his favorite or whomever was easiest to contact) and expect us to just sign with that vendor. He said he would work on hotel room blocks but was only able to come up with 1 hotel in the area. He suggested that his assistant Amanda take pictures during our engagement party. A wk later, Bjorn stated he needed to edit them + they would be done by the end of 'next week' which turned into the end of the month, which turned into over a month of waiting for the photos he said he wanted to "edit". After waiting over a month for the photos (+ having to continuously reach out about them), we looked at the photos + saw that he did not edit the pictures but rather just put his company logo at the bottom. He also purchased lots of materials for the engagement party but did not provide receipts (which it does state in his contract that he will provide receipts). We asked three times for the receipts and finally he emailed most of them to us a month after the party but stated that he "can't find the receipt for the greenery". He ended up having to give us back the money for some of the items he purchased because he could not find the receipts for them. My fiancé and I would spend over an hour on the phone and feel as if nothing got accomplished. He would talk about his other clients and how much other clients wanted to use him but somehow found it hard to focus on my fiancé and I as the client. After 4 of these hour long calls, my fiancé and I dreaded talking on the phone with him because it became such a time waster. My fiancé asked to not be on any of the calls anymore due to him constantly calling when he was on the subway. We sent him an email asking that he call us next time whenever he is in a quiet place, he said no problem at all! He picked the time for the next call and ...he called us on the Subway again. This then created our decision to end our contract with Bjorn--forfeiting our $2,000 deposit. With a heavy heart we wrote him an email asking to cancel the contract and send back the items we purchased for the party that he still had. He sent back the items but more than half of them were shattered and broken. I would really recommend doing your research before signing with this vendor. I was very disappointed by many things that won't fit in this review. No bride should have to go through what I went through with Bjorn.

rge nor a settling. From the get-go, Björn proved to be much more than a day-of helper and more like the wedding planner we never thought we could afford. He had several meetings with us throughout our planning months and hooked us up with helpful spreadsheets and contacts. As our wedding was pretty much 100% DIY, Björn oversaw our purchasing/planning with our best interest in mind. The week of the wedding he even offered to travel to our upstate venue an extra day just to meet with some of our vendors and help us craft and decorate the space. The day of the wedding, Björn and his assistant were on target all day (even when we weren't at the venue yet) - working their tails off to make sure everything ran smoothly for us. With our 250 person wedding, this was no easy task. He ensured that everything happened when it was supposed to and that it happened flawlessly...with time for deep breaths and personal wine/food deliveries to the overwhelmed brides. We would not hesitate to recommend Björn. With his growing business, he is dedicated and devoted to making your day perfect...and you should let him.

, it was something I needed to keep my sanity, and boy was she eating her words of doubt after seeing why I hired him. Bjorn was like hiring my best stylish friend to deliver my vision on the most important day of my life. He totally understood the easy and elegant feel I was going for on my wedding day, from call number one to consult to the very last hour of my reception he took care of everything. And I mean everything, things I did not think of to things I had thought of but not seen the importance of, he produced, went ABOVE and beyond the call of duty just so my wedding could look as important as it felt. Everything flowed seamlessly and this was absolutely all his doing. I had one bridal meltdown when my dress got dirty after the first look, and Bjorn did not miss a beat, he stood there in the hotel room cleaning the train of my dress before the ceremony. We met several times, spoke all along the way and he was with me from start to finish that day. MUCH MUCH more than I was getting from speaking with other DOC's. I had a small untraditional wedding with a lot of parts that Bjorn was able to move along seamlessly, the guests felt comfortable and knew where to go and what to expect bc of this. He had so many ideas and what I could not/did not know how to execute he did himself, from details to flowers, which MADE the reception, it would not have been as beautiful if I did it myself. Most of all he treated us with such kindness, he was so fun, he checked in on us all throughout the party. The day went so fast and I/we are so grateful that he was there or else I'm not sure we would have known when to cut the cake, or make the speeches or any of that bc our minds were completely elsewhere. Bjorn we are so grateful and appreciative of you and you will always be our number one recommendation. My only regret is not having Bjorn with me from day one of planning!!!!!
